Nevada Business Broker Permit

Beyond a standard real estate license, Nevada requires two additional permits for certain specialized fields. The permits are a Property Management Permit and a Business Broker Permit. ABC Real Estate School offers education for the Business Broker Permit.

Business Broker Education:
A business broker permit runs concurrent with a Nevada real estate license. It requires 24-hours of separate education and an additional test with the state.
Course Design:
Our course includes some pdf reading material, geared towards the outline that will be covered on the state sponsored test. There are additional quizzes that you use for your test preparation. Take it at your own pace. We won’t require you to read it at our pace.

Are you a business broker in a state other than Nevada? If so, and you plan on advertising in Nevada, you will need a license and a business broker permit.
Nevada law states:
A Business broker means a person who, while acting for another and for compensation or with the intention or expectation of receiving compensation:
      1.  Sells, exchanges, options, purchases, rents or leases a business that is sold, exchanged, optioned, purchased, rented or leased as part of an interest or estate in real property;
      2.  Negotiates or offers, attempts or agrees to negotiate the sale, exchange, option, purchase, rental or lease of a business that is or is intended to be sold, exchanged, optioned, purchased, rented or leased as part of an interest or estate in real property; or
      3.  Lists or solicits prospective purchasers of a business if a component of the listing or solicitation is an interest or estate in real property.
